DoiTung’s natural-dyed handwoven fabrics are made from selected local colorants. Red soil produces beige and reddish orange colors, catechu trees orange-brown, Sticklac reddish, and macadamia nut shell charcoal gray. This contributes to the conservation of local plants, chemical use reduction, and income generation for the nearby community.
